Raddler’s Sporting Achievements
Amazing what heights you can reach in endurance competition. Here’s a record of The Blue Raddle Four Legged Race Team successfully finishing last at the 2010 race during Dorchester Carnival week. The Team picked up the wooden spoon on a record two consecutive years and in 2011 only failed to make it three years on the trot due to some questionable behaviour by race officials. A stewards enquiry is still ongoing. Some of the wooden spoons awarded to The Raddle team are proudly displayed on the pub wall.
There’s also a pic of the Landlord and colleagues at The Raddle being presented with the award for the West Dorset CAMRA Pub of The Year.
